Angry Legacy-fixed timing belt now what

Ok So I replaced the timing belt per requirements and now my car wont idle when it warms up, it idles fine with no missing when its cold but as soon as the thermostat opens up thats when it dies and wont stay running unless I keep in the gas.I also replaced the FPR as I thought this was my original problem. All spark plugs are firing and are dry, no oil or fuel but a couple of them are black and sooty not white. Any suggestions would be helpful

I would seem to be rich. Ok when cold, too rich to idle when hot, black sooty plugs, suggest this. Are the affected plugs on the same side as the vacuum pipe for the FPR? Is the FPR the same pressure as the orignal.

Harvey.

It could be the coolant temperature sensor since it happens after it warms up.

Replace the Coolant Temp Sensor. It'll fix your problem.

Hopefully the timing belt was aligned correctly and didn't jump a tooth.

Im starting to think that Ive jumped one tooth on the timing. Ive changed the coolant sensor and nothing changed. Can it being one tooth off affect it that much?
