I wasn't trying to imply that you weren't being honest...
I just thought it was a little odd to show just the back of the rim and I was curious of what the front looked like, no disrespect or question of integrity.

no problem, but as you can see in the pic
what Im talking about etc.
Even a silver wheel traveling over a few hundred
miles with no packing would of taken a beating.
This was a "painted" bronze wheel traveling aprox
2000 miles with no packing on its face
sliding around in a box the whole time etc.

btw, Mike hope to hear from you today
I had a partner once......once.
I ditched him after the first yr in business
to help business.

Mike, if you seriously want to take care of this like
a legit caring business, its now Wed nite and I still havent
recieved a ph call or email from you trying to resolve
the problem.
Just a word of advice, if you want to keep customers you have to communicate and be honest with them.
Customers will never complain about your communicating with them "too much" and telling them the truth about the given situation, I can promise you that.
Please call me Thur at my shop and lets get this resolved.

Dayle...I see the pic of the first scuffs....they look like scratches or gouges to me....personally the box wouldn't do that unless there were staples on the bottom of the box rubbing.
I had 4 rims delivered the same way to me from a different seller, not packed properly and all, but the edges would just slide around.

My question to you is do you know where you will get the rims recoated/painted? I have 4 that I need to do as well to hid the scratches and curb rash. Or do you perform that at your business.

Thanks,

Matt

What I was showing in the one pic was the massive amount of curb rash
on the wheel that was painted over with regard to quaility control.
In the ebay ad it says Recently refinished in beautiful bronze color. Center caps included.
Does the curb rash look like the description?
The paint being scuffed off was just from rubbing against the
cardboard of course. Plus still no caps or sign of them.
As for someone refinishing them locally I can ask around, I have one
place that may be able to refinish the paint for me, but I dont think its
going to be cheap.
I also can check the people who chrome my wheels, but they are in Ca
and wont be cheap either.

I got the wheels today, finally.
each wheel just tossed in a larger box then needed
no packing material at all, just flopping around, the worse packing
or lack of that Ive ever experienced.
All 4 wheels are way used, and curb rashed, looks like spray paint
on them, and the face of each one is scuffed from rubbing against
the cardboard while in transit.
on top of it all, all the caps missing

took pics for anyone interested....

Im not perfect, but I know a little about how to ship a wheel
properly so it gets 2000 miles away in good condition.
Its not rocket science.
Its a shame the wheels started off in bad condtion in the 1st place
on top of it all and took a month to recieve on top of it.
All I can say is if these guys plan on staying in business or keeping
customers, things will have to change on their end.
Atleast he responded, I called you three times about a rim I needed and you said you would email me within an hour, eventually I got an email saying it was dark in the room so you couldnt tell whether it was light or dark silver. You told me you would check the next day and get back with me and never did... Several days later I bought one elsewhere for $64 shipped. (www.car-part.com)
People make mistakes I guess....

You emailed me once, and I Promptly emailed you back within an hour telling you we just moved and I needed to find my stack of svx wheels to see what I had.
I did email you back that nite too to let you know I was still looking for them.
Then the next day I emailed you telling you all my wheels where the wrong side and color, check your spam folder.
The point is I didnt have a wheel to sell you and didnt lead you on for a month, and didnt take $ from you and ship you a unworthy or incorrect product.
We arent even comparing apples with apples, I guess I should be "happy" he responded ? and this is after 5 weeks of getting the run around and paying him $272 ?
Send me $272 out of your pocket for 5 weeks and see how you feel about the whole situation, seriously.
I think I take care of my customers and potential customers pretty well for me and 1 other employee running a full time shop by day and Svx store somewhere in between the local customers and mail order Svx-ers.
The stuff I sell on ebay, ships within 24 hours of being paid everytime, no exceptions. My feedback also reflects this. I value my ebay name and customers like gold.

I think it would be better to talk to the people that you are trying to deal with by PM or email and not drag the dirty laundry out in front of everyone else. People make mistakes, or misunderstand communication at times. As long as no one is trying to scam someone, it is better to keep it more private. If somone is dishonest, then we need to warn members.
