took my car in for a car wash and the damn hood badge fell off!! ....the thing that holds it was still there but the stars and black part was off when i looked at it ....oh well time to hit up ebay for a nice shiny red one

I actually couldnt find any of the ones i wanted....so i opted for the STi badge i have on now....i just stick that in place and take the other one off.

Exactly the reason you wash the old fasion way (but not with dish detergent). Every time you go through a car wash you say good-bye to a little more paint.

FYI if you still have the emblem it'll stick right back on with a little liquid nails.

If i were you, i would remove the badge entirely... that would keep the chicks laying around it like bees trying to figure out what kind of car is it!

No but it looks nice and would save me alot more than buying the alcyone badge from dayle. Lets just say I am supporting STi and advertising it a little more....maybe a SOA rep will see my car and be like hmmmm a SVX STi...how interesting

I dont know how it is where you live but alot of people here could care less about the car you drive.....I live in New York....no one gives a crap about that kinda stuff . Most you'll ever get is something like oh nice car....or hey that looks cool...something like that. Chicks here are into high priced automobiles = high maintanence

Right on the mark steve....thats why i tell everyone my car is a subaru prototype and im just testing it out for a yr. ..hence the STi badges
