okay, I've seen this dam game like 20 times .........and have had to have swung at this mother ______ a lot and never got past 550 ...........how the heck do u get such a high distance?

I just broke 600 for the first time. Even though that's not great, I think the key is to hit the penguin at such an angle that when he lands he continues to bounce forward. Jumped from 502 to 605 with a well timed hit...
