Talking

Arondale,
Thanks, for your review about the SVX. I can't imagine what that Audi was. I agree that big money goes to a home that's my plan after the SVX. Very artistic photography of your RED SVX.
Peace

I rate my '96 SVX an eight. It handles great, great touring car, sucky gas mileage, unique, and it looks good for an eight years old car.

I can definitely agree with that statement! With the exception of the fake center headlight, the design of our cars fits right in with other ones offered today!

if the SVX had an optional 6 speed and didnt have such an issue with... reliability... ! would rate it a 12... 15 in pearl white, and 30 when courting a female, or running away and still getting caught

10 for the way it makes me feel. 8 for styling. 5 for the tranny. 3 for the plastic radiator. 1 for the cost of replacement parts.

Mines 11.

I have been working on and driving cars for 40 years. Mine is definitely an 11. Best all round car i have had.

But then it is an Euro model, with Varied Torque Diff, 3.7:1 finals, glass headlights and the drivers seat on the right side.

Harvey.

I would also rate my SVX at 11!

Firstly, because it is also a Euro model with the VTD AWD system!

Secondly, because my particular SVX is immaculate inside and out, drives beautifully, and its transmission operates flawlessly (touch wood!)

Thirdly, because my SVX is Charcoal Grey, undoubtedly the BEST colour for an SVX, and it seems, one of the rarest (not available in the US!)

Finally, because I know of no other car that offers such a good mix of effortless performance, refinement, comfort, handling, practicality.......................

.......and exclusivity (especially if you live in Australia - less than 250 SVXs were imported in total!)

Jason.

I rate my SVX an 9. The paint is in fabulous condition for a 93 barcelona red. No fading anywhere and its still glossy and shiny! And except for this acceleration problem that im going to get fixed soon, the car runs like a dream . I love taking the corners fast with the AWD.

Bump
How do you rate your SVX?
Compare to the Lexus SC 300, Nissan 300 Z, BMW 3 Series, etc.
I would like to know since I just purchase a '96 SVX lsi.
Thanks,
Sid

i would rate mine a 5 overall, everything works greate concerning mechanical, engine, driving, technical stuff, but the paint isent in perfect condition id give my paint a 7-8, my interior id give like a 6-7, the cleanlyness of the engine a 8 (only because i know i can get it looking pretty clean with proper cleaning) if i knew i couldent it would be a 5 as it is right know (havent washed it) rims are about a 6 pretty new enkei's have some curb rash from previouse owner

not as classy and nice as a lexus id say about equal if not better than a 300 zx (sorry but id prolly have to say 300 zx ) and not as nice and sporty as a 3 series

Considering recent upgrading, it's about as fun as an XT6, which puts it in the 9 ballpark.
Still looking to conquer the awful body roll in corners.
