Just drove a rare LOTUS ESPIRIT!!
WOW! My brother stopped over a little while ago, and much to my surprise his boss let him borrow his LOTUS! WHAT A CAR! It's some sort of special edition model, one of only 20 made for that series......I'll have to call him later to get the exact specs. Anyway, that thing is all power! It's small, VERY cramped inside, and the seats hold you like you're on some sort of amusement ride. And when you let that clutch out......WOAH! What a fun little car!

Those Lotus Esprit's are some really quick cars. One of the guys that I was thinking of buying a VR-4 from last year, was selling the 3000GT and a Caterham Super 7 to make room for a new Esprit he had ordered.
Those Esprit's are extremely quick too - 0-60 in 4.5 secs and 1/4 mile times in the mid 12's. Their turbo'd 3.5L V-8's are also a novelty in themselves. Any time those cars go down the highway, heads will turn...  -Chike

Doesn't look like an Esprit V8 to me. Whatever model it is, definitely cool! I have always had a thing for lotuss (loti?)

Lucky bugger. I've loved that car since I was a teenager. It has the 4-cyl turbo back then. Of course I would never be able to fit into it, but I still love them anyway.

Looks like an Esprit S4S. Still a nice car though...turbo 4, i think 5.5 seconds to 60 (long time since i've seen one run). Anyway, i've driven the Esprit V8 a couple of times, and yes it is a tight fit for me (6'2"), so i'd imagine the S4S would be even smaller.
