Cam's(making overlap occur!!!!!), nitrous(needing superior header volume to remove heat from the engine), gearing(wanting for the powerband to appear higher up the rev range) changes EVERYTHING.

I'm with Phil here. They did an alright job with the manifolds...but there's still quite a bit of potential left there. Sure.... with a bit of back pressure it will have more low end torque. But it's also restrictive at higher RPMs.
