Oxygen sensors, so many to choose from.
My 92 ebony popped an O2 sensor code yesterday. The check engine light was only on for a few minutes but I decided to have it scanned anyway.
I've seen prices ranging from $118.ea from subaru parts.com, to $80-ish ea from auto zone for bosch or denso exact-fit. Is one better than the other? Thanks.

Re: Oxygen sensors, so many to choose from.
You can source an OEM NTK replacement from places like Rock Auto. The part # is NTK 24614. They should be around $37.79.

Re: Oxygen sensors, so many to choose from.
I agree with the NGK/NTK sensors.
The most reliable, and the cheapest, O2 sensors I have found. Had them in since February 2010 and still perfect. Amazon.com has them for $41.11 http://www.amazon.com/NGK-24614-Iden...ords=ntk+24614 NTK is the world's leading manufacturer of OEM oxygen sensors and supplies more vehicle manufacturers with oxygen sensors than any other company. .

Re: Oxygen sensors, so many to choose from.
I third this suggestion. I tried the Bosch with mixed results. My next sensor will be NTK.

Re: Oxygen sensors, so many to choose from.
Just make sure the O2 sensor has the plug on the end for easy replacement. Some cheaper versions don't have it and you will need to splice it.

The 02sensor may not even be bad...

Re: Oxygen sensors, so many to choose from.
That is possible Keith.
But depending on how cheap I can get them for, I'll have spares if I need them.

Re: Oxygen sensors, so many to choose from.
Yes they are all the same NTK 24614. Even the post cat sensor on the '96 and '97 are the same.
