Really dirty leather and "suede"

HELP !!!!!!

My new svx is out getting its new Impreza g'box and diff and the interior is FILTHY!!! (previous owner)

Does anybody have any neat tricks, like citrus cleaner to get the grunge off the leather and the "suede" (I know its not really suede!).

I have a couple of regular leather cleaners but for thye first pass, I know that I need something really potent!

ANY UNIQUE IDEAS???

I've heard that a cleaning kit for suede shoes will work on the ecsaine dash panels.

As for the leather, try some spray leather cleaner and a plastic bristled scrub brush. That leather is VERY durable, so dont be afraid to use the scrub brush. It works great. (I got that tip from Motor Trend.)

There's lots of home remedies around here somewhere, but one I tried worked on some dark stains on the "suede" (Escaine). Try Resolve carpet cleaner. Spray, let soak a minute, then BLOT with terry towel. Don't rub! You may have to repeat depending upon the scuzz quotient of YOUR armrests.

Ron.

try www.leatherique.com - the Rejuvenator liquid and Prestine Clean work wonders. the Rejuvenator brings all the crud from the pores of the leather to the surface and moisturizes it. slop it on and put trash bags over the seats for a few days.

i used some Blue Magic Dry Clean wipes on the ecsaine with good results, but then again my "suede" wasn't really that dirty.

The owner's manual recommends a warm water and Woolite solution for cleaning the Ecsaine. As Ron mentioned, always BLOT, never rub. If you have ink, or dark spots, use a dab of lighter fluid on a clean white cloth -- again, BLOT, don't rub. For the leather, a wipedown with a clean rag and mild soap and water solution will take off the surface dirt (careful not to "soak" the leather. Wring the rag out 'til almost dry), then apply the leatherique cleaner/conditioner recommended by Landshark.
