O/T Halloween in Madison. WOO!

Did anyone here go? Madison is pretty much the best place to be for halloween weekend in my opinion. State street, an..8-10 block long street that stretchs from the capital all the way to campus, is a 'street mall', so traffic isn't allowed. Anyway, every year more and more people come. Last year we supposedly had around 50,000 people here drunk or stoned wandering around in all sorts of creative costumes. This year, people partied Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (the big night).... we had 65,000 people. I went as a monkey from the bloodhound gang video... it ruled because chicks dig monkeys. Anyway, I wasnt around for this last part, but apparently saturday night, at about 2:30 am there was a riot and the cops had to bust out riot gear, teargas, and pepper spray. Windows were broken, looting began...apparently by out of towners. Dammit.. Now the cops will be all anal next year >:|

hmm....i was there.....it was crazy fun but luckily we left state before the riot started.....i saw you got a spot right off of gohram on the road(unless it was someone elses black SVX) not fair! we had to drive around forever till we found somoone pulling out ...got lucky
