Re: 1992 Ten Best Nominees C & D

I'm not terribly impressed with that list. They obviously weren't looking for the most exciting to drive vehicles if the nominees include Dodge Caravan, Ford Taurus (non-SHO), Nissan NX2000, Toyota Camry and Previa, and a Volvo 960. I mean seriously, the Previa? That's got to be one of the most "What the f*** were they thinking?!" cars ever made.

The SVX was likely cut simply due to it's price tag. Far too expensive for a Subaru, in a segment no one knew they were in.

True, the list is not impressive if you take it on face value, but I suspect the article divided them in groups.

It seems you've never driven a NX2000. Think of it as an early 90's Nissan Sentra SE-R with bigger brakes and lighter by 200lbs. 14 second 1/4 mile times were pretty good for any car sold in the U.S. in the early-mid 90's.
