Where did you learn to speak and where did you learn to spell?

It's "Halo's" or "Angel Eyes" and no they aren't just made and sold but they can be fabricated by you! That's right, you can do it yourself and I'll tell you how as soon as I find the write up on the how to..

Also, as for the faded yellowish look, you can either simply clean your headlights every so often with headlight cleaner sold at Auto Zone or somewhere similar.. Or you can get the Smallcar clear lenses and just replace them. They look a LOT better and that seems to be what everyone else buys/does. As for brightness with your headlights, you could switch to HID's and it makes it much brighter.. The angel eyes are simply for looks, not for performance.

Oh here's the angel eye link..

Re: haylos?

Try a local glass repair shop. I had my lights restored for $50. They look amazing! They also have an anti fade/yellow warranty for the life of the headlight unit itself.

Glass repair? Lights restored? No yellowing?

They aren't glass though and how do you mean restored? They scrubbed them off?

Re: haylos?

I know they are not glass. Glass shops offer the service. They spray a chemical agent inside the light to prevent interneal fogging and yellowing. They use the same chemical on the outside, then buff the lens and recoat it in a NON light distorting clear protectant.

Re: haylos?

smallcar lenses are mickeymouse.

Proper cleaning and maintenance work wonders.
Another option is just to replace the units, like I did.

Re: haylos?

I was at National Tire and Battery buying new tires for my Spyder and I saw an ad there saying they would do headlight restorations. I didn't ask how much or what was involved though. I just use McQuires PlasticX on mine and they look great... for a while.

Re: haylos?

Yeah it would be great to know what the process they use is. Do they heat them to seperate the lense from the housing like we have to? Or do they have some kind of magic tool to do it without breaking or melting things?

smallcar = Micky Mouse? I guess I love Micky.. Cause the clear lenses are gawjus!

When I was running a car dealership, there was a local franchise of a company called "MARS" who would come by and offer many reconditioning services for the used vehicles. They offered a headlight service that was excellent. Much better than any kit that's available retail. I'd imagine it's similar to what your glass shop is using.
