yankin' the tags off
This may be the beginning of the end. Just got my SVX back on the road...replaced the ps pressure hose, fixed the window before. All was good.
And then driver window became a problem again. (gotta help it back up). And the dreaded slipping between 2-3 or 3-4. What a drag. I paid around $2800 a few years ago to have it rebuilt. So here we go again. I'm pulling the tags off and it's gonna sit. And I was having a blast driving it again. Guess it's back to the 4 door Bonneville. Yes it's true. Ugh. I wonder if there's a way to tell how bad it is....compression test? Damn. I even went looking at some cars. Yea they're nice but they ain't the same! Believe it or not I saw another SVX, AWD green instead of current FWD blue. Sigh. Thanks for the past help.

Re: yankin' the tags off
If its a 2-3 slip, you may be able to save it by adjusting the brake band...
