Tire Pressure....?

What is the ideal tire pressure...in your personal opinions...for our SVX tires? I know this was addressed before, so direct me to an earlier thread..or please give your simple opinion here.. . .

I have Yokohama (102?) AVS 145/45/16 tires...and Dayle's dropsprings (1" front - 1/2" rear).. . .

THANKS for your help again! Jim

The ideal pressure depends on the tire, ambient temperatures, vehicle load and driving style. There is no single pressure setting that will accomodate all those variables.

The best is to keep an eye on how the tires are wearing and adjust accordingly.

I run about 45 psi front and 40 psi in the rear, but I do have 225/40 R18 Yokohama AVS ES100

I think that is a good recommendation. I use 40 and 36 and I think that using a higer pressure is better than lower.

Take care too,
John
