crank pulley woes again
car hasnt ran in a few days, yesterday changed the coolant temp sensor and when i was done i started the car up to make sure it ran, started it up for like a minute then shut it off, went out this morning to start doing the crank pulley and the bolt on the crank pulley was loose!!!!
The last day that I drove the car i know the bolt wasnt loose, cause i checked it what i am asking is could there have been any damage caused by running it for that minute with that loose bolt, everything sounded ok thanks jerad |

WHOOPS. I know how you feel as I've been through 2 stock ones now due to the bolt coming loose. So now I have an underdrive with the strongest thread locker I could find on the crank bolt. Let's see it do THAT again.

crank pilley/thread lock
Jerad,
If the crank stayed on the key it's OK. The picture is the old pulley, right? When I changed to an under drive pulley I used hi temp thread lock and torqued to spec. The only problem is the thread lock has to be heated to 500 degrees to break the lock Are you up and running? Dave
