The Horror (part 3)

This times it comes from smallcar. check out what's happeneing over there. wasn't that a good SVX? it only needed a hood and roof paint.
Our SVX's are becoming more and more extinct.

They need to find another engine to use for their projects. What about Audi's?

Why are you going so far, why can't they use WRX's engines? plenty of them around...

Yup, there is a guy locally who does that too, really gets under my skin, basically they are the cheapest way to make a fast Vanagon. Now, I have no problem with droping the engine in A Vanagon, I plan to do that myself, but at least get it from a non repairable car like I did!

That is why ebay has so many parts for sale these days! SmallCar is defiantly not a friend of the SVX community!

Someone explain the allure of a vanagon to me. I just dont get it. Why take the motor out of a kick ass ca rand put it in an ugly old van? (sorry to anyone who owns one, just my opinion, but still its a VAN!)

Cant we stop these guys somehow? Between them and the stupid punks with the custom svx's (such as the "horror number 2") there'll be no more to buy at this rate! I think we should all follow earle's lead and hoard them. If we pay more for them when we buy them it'll raise the market and maybe they'll stop buying them.

I find no difference between small car and Kinetics but yet there are plenty here who buy from both. As one who comes from a British car background from when there were no parts suppliers I've been saying it all along about idiots who care more for the all mighty $$$ then presevation. If you don't like it then don't bid!

I don't see much difference either, but just mentioned SmallCar.

I agree with you all of the way. There are many that are getting wrecked every day it seems, but when a tranny goes out, it seems like they are being eliminated too. I know that it is expensive, but this is not a cheap car to own, and it is too rare to just hack up.
