Alternator question
Are some models of Subaru alternators interchangeable? I have a 1996 Subaru Legacy with a toasted alternator and I was needing to know if I can use a different year or model without spending a fortune? Thanks Damian

It's possible but it probably won't be as powerful and the plug end must be changed. The SVX has a square plug while all others have a round plug I believe.
