brake lines
When I change brake lines to braided stainless steel I struggled due to not having the correct tools. If you decide to do this upgrade, buy a set of "flare wrenches". I distorted several of the nuts taking off the OE lines as well as burring the nuts on the s/s lines. DO NOT do this job without flare wrenches, I was very lucky to have no fluid leaks.

Non-SVX, but a classic:
The battery quit in my wife's Odyssey. No problem. A quick trip to the parts store yields a nice new battery, it bolts right up and VROOM!!! starts great. No radio. Ok, the code must be around here somewhere. Nope. And we have 99% of all the service records from the original owner. Zip zilch nada. I spent the next four hours upside down on the front seats trying to extricate the radio to find the serial number to call Honda and Panasonic for the code. On about the third call to Honda, I get a savvy CS rep who asks me for the VIN. 3 minutes on hold and she gets me the code. |
