Wurrrrrrring noise cumming from under my car

Can anyone tell me what the wurrrrrring noise is comming from under my car? I have a 1992 SVX LSL Pear/Black, When I take off, It starts and sounds like I have a super charger. Actually I think it may be gear noise......Tranny maybe?! Also when I let up off the gas it is silent. Any clues..........Anyone?

Does it sound like a propeller? Mine does that and I was told it was a bearing in the rear differential. Mine's been like that for awhile though

so it's probably more noticeable.

Thanks Petesvx2 for the info. I found the problem
It was the passenger side front cv axle, where it goes into the tranny. I think the splinned shaft or the gear in the tranny is stripped.
