Rear diff. bushings - any expert advice?
Hallo all, I am in deep ...
I was told by my mechanic that my rear diff. bushings are gone (I feel it at changing gears...) and I need to replace them. There is no way to buy it because Subaru sell only whole subframe assembly for the rear suspension - for aprox. 800USD. I was told that Nissan (Pathfinder or 300Z) has directly the same diff. So if anybody know solution, please let me know. I can not live (drive) feeling it... Peter Burgundy 1995 |

You should post in the wanted section or scan for one for sale, somebody here should have one for sale. Shipping could cost a mint for something that heavy going overseas.

These are two oval piece of rubber, I think shipping costs will be definitelly lower than 800USD.

Subaruparts.com shows that for 92 and 93 models the rubber bushings can be purchased separately.
http://www.subaruparts.com/cart/?pn=41322AA010 For 95,96 and 97 models, no separate part no. is shown. Only the 'Diff Member Assembly' which includes the bushing is shown. http://www.subaruparts.com/cart/?pn=41310PA000 However, the JDM parts catalog shows the rubber bushings (same parts no. as above for 92/93 models) can be purchased separately for ALL years. Japanese price is US$16.00 each. One of the very few JDM parts that is cheaper than the US. Hope this helps.

Sorry to thread hijack, but paddlenz, do you know if there is a web-based JDM Subaru parts catalog that is publically available?

AsI have checked with my Subaru mechanic, part number for the bushing is for my car (1995) 41322PA000 which can be bought at www.subaruparts.com for 30 bucks. But it is not available alone in Europe, they told me to by whole assembly part no 20150PA100 for 800 bucks!.
I am confused. Peter |
