I Am So Stupid!!!

i got outbid on these on ebay by $1 because i didn't realize what time the auction ended!!!
i was prepared to pay a ridiculous amount, too. here's the description, and a pic-

BTW, can any of our Australian members here find me some of these, PLEASE?

"These are clear headlight covers for SVX. They are not in their original package I bought them off of a showroom car and never got around to installing them. (Bought an WRX instead). So they don't have any actual on road time on them. Scratch free.
They are made of acrylic plastic I think, and snap into place under the hood. I don't have any installation instructions but they said they were easy to install. No hardware required. Anyways I'm sure you've seen them before.

They're made in Australia and you're not going to pay nearly as much as I did."

Hey Alan... did you see my thread in the Reading forum about the leaving time. That is pretty flexable if something fits you better.

are there any problems w/ cracked headlights?
if so these would be worth it... dont' know how much they cost... but to keep the actual hl's from cracking it's probably worth it, even at the expense (great expense) of style

Those are adhesive things that stick into the headlights. We're talking about hard plastic covers here.

I'd want them so once I get those smallcar clear headlights, I don't have to polish the plastic every few months....it'd basically protect your headlights from being sandblasted from everyday driving.

exactly. every so often, pop the covers off, polish, replace. keep the smallcar.com lights looking like new for a long time.

oh, and how exactly would these be "un-stylish?" they are clear plastic - you probably woundn't even notice them.
