visor fix - magnets
I have officially fixed my drooping visors with SmCo magnets. They stick great to the magnets in the visor for the mirror cover, and stick right to the roof in that spot. They work great, passenger and driver side. I got the magnets from work (we make some big electric motors). They are about 20mmx40mmx5mm, and are crazy strong. Hope this helps someone

Re: visor fix - magnets
bingo, nothing glued anywhere! just a REALLY strong magnet, I will measure it on a gauss meter tomorrow, but I know it is really strong. It will attract a piece of metal through both of my hands, and about a 1.5" piece of wood.

Re: visor fix - magnets
I believe this magnet would also be effective in holding it up there. BUT at $553.74 shipped, and 1175lb pull force, it might possibly be overkill. I saw a bigger one on EBay at one time, was a 6x6 cylinder with something like 3000lb pull force, but I think they pulled it, it probably killed someone . In the description, it said it would distort a CRT monitor or TV from over 15 feet away
