Tom, get here any time before 330 as we will be heading out from my house then. I think Jesse is gonna stop by early in the day so we can take a look at my drivline to try and figure some stuff out..... Don't worry, I will be racing, just don't know if I will be autocrossing on Sunday.

Ben,..... you got no chance....

Tom

Still haven't determined if they can be made to fit on the SVX. Granted, WRX front struts fit on the rear just fine after 15 minutes of hub grinding per side so tires shouldn't be an issue. I just need to figure out if it will fit inside our front fenders or if it is time to cut them open and flare 'em .

Are you telling me I shouldn't have confidence in my driver? Dave and I put WRX front struts on the rear tonight. I still have about a pound of ground metal in my eyes from grinding down the hubs to get 'em on. Looks good and feels firm though! Now you just need to change that SHOULD TO WILL!!! Meet at your dad's shop at 1:30???

Well... Finally got the whole driveshaft out and found my issue. It is my u-joints maxing out and banging the yoke together. I need to get a good cradle and it should take these issues away. Right now I am gonna pull a temporary fix by shimming it down and pushing the center bearing up closer to the car. This should allow the power to flow better to the rear wheels so I can get a little quicker See you guys out there tomorrow...

Ben,
You realize just how wicked the racecar will look with flared fenders I'm guessing 8 inch wide rims with 42 or 38 mm offset should do the trick.
How about some pics of the WRX struts installed on the rear? How's the total travel compared to the SVX struts?
-Bill

Problem is we can only put 7s on if we go away from stock rims but of course we're free to shim as much as we want. Not a clue on the travel yet. It never left the trailer to get her new struts on. Considering they are the EXACT same size as the SVX rear it shouldn't be too different. Only issue we may have is with the spacer we had to put in the top to compentate for the different mount might not last the best (it's a copper pipe coupler )
