A word of caution. I ordered a Baja model from these people back on Nov. 11, 2019 using my VISA credit card because I have a 2005 Baja turbo. They confirmed my order and sent me a confirming e-mail with P/O #. My VISA bill was also charged.

I filed the e-mail and forgot about it because of all the covid-19 stuff. Now that the posts about SVX model have resurfaced, I remembered and sent them an e-mail last night asking when they will send the Baja model. I received an answer today saying they will ship in July. They did not give me a firm date so I will query them again in June.

From mid-November to July is 8 months and seems like a very long time unless there is only a couple of people making each model by hand, not a real manufacturing operation.

Thanks to Huck, who cut up a door panel, I finally sent off actual swatcheS
of the gray leather/vinyl and the gray escaine to Switzerland so they can reproduce the interior accurately. Also the 1992 “wood” trim.

Mine is pre-ordered as well, along with the display case

Fortunately, I have the spoiler. I dissembled and refinished my 1/24 diecast SVX from silver to dark teal. Came out good! I've seen pics of how DNA generally pieces them together so I think I'll try.

I received my BAHA. It is very nice. There are only some very minor details I would change/add. The model is yellow with silver cladding. My Baha is pearl white with silver cladding. The model has blacked out rear windows so you can't see into the rear seats. They got the front seats and dash board right. the model is not a turbo. My Baha is, so I'll have to add a hood scoop. The model has a "blacked out" license plate", so I need to make a small Delaware plate.

I am very happy with this model. It comes in a cardboard and clear plastic film viewing box. I hope the SVX model is just as good.

I got the 2 clear plastic display cases today and put the Baha model in one. It sure looks great. Now I need to find a spot to display it. Does anyone here think I should ask Rosie to move some of her shoes.
