5mt swap - clutch pedal hits main wiring box

92 SVX LSL using 99 Impreza Outback Cable activated clutch 5mt

The clutch pedal, most specifically the cable hook on my clutch pedal goes up right into the white box through which passes tons of wiring. The clutch pedal is mounted exactly on level with the stock brake pedal as I used the stock pedal assembly as the foundation for my modifications.

Has anyone ever encountered this before and if so how did you fix it? I am going to try to break the plastic away from the pedal and just try to move the wiring harnesses a few inches so that I have clearance but what other ideas do you have?
