Exclamation Save these SVX parts from the crusher - no reasonable offers refused

OK folks - I'm parting out a 1995 "L" model and need the thing gone, fast. It will go to the crusher in under 2 weeks. The car is located in Southern California (Irvine).

I've listed some of the stuff on eBay for $0.01 (no reserve) - take a look - http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZtoidle1973

Pictures: A huge pile of more than 200 pictures are available of this car are at http://www.flickr.com/photos/youracc...7602033487027/

Here are some pics of the car, but see the picture link above for more:

Call me at 949-854-4476 if you see anything you like.

Thanks,
Garnet

Looks like you already have it stripped down.
If it is actually going to be disposed of, how much for all of the front seatbelt parts to change over from my automatic belts?
Shipped to 01040.

Jim: how does $25 each side plus the actual cost of shipping sound?

Could I have some of the little green covers off the bulbs that light up the "fog", "cruise", and "rear defrost" buttons?

They're just little green covers that make the bulbs shine green - I need two of them.

Are these located within the switches?

I have the fog/cruise/rear defrost buttons for sale right now on eBay for $0.01 with no bids - it might be best to just go there and bid a cent for them.

Thumbs up Cheap Larger Parts for Pick-up Only: Southern California

OK: here's the deal for the larger parts. I don't want to send this car to the junkyard (which will be immediately crushed since it's been partially parted out) and so want to get rid of big/bulky stuff locally (in Southern California) if possible. This is a price list of larger stuff for local pick-up only:

- Full set of gray cloth seats in good condition: $150
- Windshield: $150 (if you help remove it)
- Doors: $100 ea, pair for $160
- Doors with door glass: $130 ea, pair for $200
- Door glass, both sides: $60 (you remove it)
- Rear glass: $100 (if you help remove it)
- Complete set of glass (windshield, 4 door pieces, 5 rear pieces): $280 (you help remove it)
- Interior door cards: $30 each, pair for $50
- Steering wheel: $40
- Rear spoiler: $40
- Trunk lid: $40
- Rear bumper: $40
- Rear fenders: $40 each
- Wheels, tires, suspension, transmission (no body panels and glass): $200-$400 (negotiable)

Email me at garnethertz@gmail.com or phone me at 949-854-4476 if you're interested in any of this stuff. Good deals given for people who are buying a number of parts. WILL MATCH ANY PRICE.

Gimme a call... I need to move this stuff ASAP.

If you're curious at how far the car is away from where you're at, here's a map: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=e...=18&iwloc=addr

Thanks!
Garnet

This will be my only response to "car killer" or "why are you parting this car out" questions: I saved this car from the crusher myself while looking for an SVX motor. I've pulled the motor and the items I need, and am now parting it out to help SVX owners restore their cars... and think all of the parts will (hopefully) go to good homes. (And anyhow - what are people supposed to do with SVXs that have junked titles that can't be legally registered?)

It is called a "brake and lamp check", you deliver it, namely the certificate issued afterwards, to DMV with a little $$$ and they mail in six weeks a brand spankin new title marked "salvage", the word "salvage" means the car previously was issued a junk title, not that it was wrecked or anything else the knotheads will try to tell you

BTW, DMV ALWAYS will accept money trust me in this, they just took $515 out of my pay check

I know SoCal is a whole new state, but it isn't that different now put that car back together! I got 2 spare engines without hurting an SVX

Dude... you're about 2 months and a dozen buyers too late. It's WAY beyond a brake and lamp check:

If you want to buy the car, stop whining and PayPal the cash to me.

(And your dream vehicle is a Vanagon, anyhow.)
