After 8.5 years in London, we got back to Sydney yesterday and very nice to be home.

Still point and jump around like a little kid when I see an SVX so keen to get back into ownership sooner rather than later

I was going to resurrect that idea first thing this morning, since yesterday I finally parted with the big bucks to get a whole new exhaust on mine... but then I encounted flexplate issues on the way home from the exhaust shop. Doh! And while it was on the hoist I found my new steering rack is leaking. Double doh!

At least one is a warranty issue...

It wouldn't be an SVX if it didn't break something as soon as you fixed something else!

I have parts to go on to fix various problems, but have not had the time to have them fitted.

Not sure about that - we can't seem to agree on where to meet....!

I vote for a meeting in Sydney (I know of two other SVX owners in Sydney - and I assume that James is also in Sydney) The last major SVX meet up (6 years ago!!!) was in Sydney (Heathcote I believe).

Yep, I am in Sydney (Chatswoodish) but currently carless.

I have been spoiled rotten by UK car prices so finding it very hard come to terms with the prices of used cars in Oz. Sigmas for $1000???? I had LS400's for less than that!

Aggh! I need to get a family car first (we have two little kids now...how the time has flown!) but that is tempting!!

We are unpacking all our things from storage and I found my stash of SVX items....I wonder if that VIN will appear from my searches a decade ago.

That is really scary actually.

Can't be too many of that year and colour around. There was one that came down to Martin's place (she lived around Frenchs Forest - Michelle??) - anyone know if that is her old car?
