Smile Another restoration soon begins

I just got back from New Jersey today after picking up Mike621's teal that had an engine fire. In the next few weeks we will tear it all apart and fix everything up with new wires, engine, tranny, front struts and brakes, and all underhood pieces will be replaced also. It's undetermined whether it will be up for sale or not when complete.

Sweet deal. I see the Pearlie's finally off to a new home. Wish I'd got that one....

Keep saving those dimes and maybe you can get the teal later on down the road when it's done.

The former owner had the fuel lines replaced at a dealership and they left one loose.

My mom ripped all the vinyls off the car today and said it looks much better now and the body is quite nice with just a few dings. Tomorrow I'll hopefully get time to look it over better after I get done with Michael Blues car and have it ready to go home to him.

+1 on the vynals. Its a shame the fire didnt just melt them off and let the rest of the car be alone. the body and interior are in great shape...now to work out the mechanical stuffs....good luck with the project
