what for? Do you just want a parts car or is your SVx got good mechanics and a bad body?

He wants a car with a good body, but the mechanicals don't have to be perfect because he's had one before and knows how to work on them. He installed a 5-speed into the one he had previously.

found!

I know it is quick, but I put in a really low offer on one and after a day of thinking it over she accepted. suprised me. Anyway it is a 92 Teal with 144K. EVERYTHING works and body is pretty good. One scratch about 1/8x4" on right rear. Don't know what I am going to do about that. It also has a cracked windshield, but she gave me a good one, I only have to install it! It has the small car shift kit (seems to work well) drilled rotors(brand???). Stock stereo works perfect (a plus for me, aftermarket stereos only tempt the thieves) Paid $1750. Nicest car I have owned for that much money. Security and keyless even work.

Good deal! What was the asking price? Do you have any plans other than just driving it?

Not bad! That sounds like a good price even if you had to buy a windshield.

Wait a minute, '92 Teal, cracked windshield, 144K miles . . . Where's my wife? No, we don't have a spare windshield!

I hope to see you around town. Keep it away from the students!

2950 was the asking price

She wanted 2950 but I was in no hurry. I called and left a message telling her that I would give 1750 for it. She called back 2X trying to talk me up but I refused. The paint is really ok. Actually I kind of like not having to worry every time I leave it in a parking lot. With my 1st SVX I was constantly worried.
