2005 Outback

2005 Outback has been unveiled at www.need-desire.com

I like it. It has the good styling plus it looks sufficiantly muscular for light duty offroading.

...because we all know that styling determines offroad ability.

Well, I notice the decent amount of ground clearance, and skid plates, so I would assume that they had light offroading in mind....

It is definitely a good-looking car. I dig the dual exhaust outlets.

the 2.5L turbo and the 3.0L H6 have 250 hp and you can get either one in it in addition to the standard 2.5L.

our MY97 outback has a mere 110K miles, so it's not due for replacement for another, oh i don't know, 100K miles, i guess...

When did that happen? Last time I heard the 3.0L only had like 211 HP. Now it makes more than our beloved 3.3L at the same time.

About styling, I am not that impressed with it. So far the greatest styiling subaru had was for its 97 - 99 models of outback, especial Impresa 2.5 RS.

Legacy, on the other hand looks a lot better then before. I like it a lot more then previous style.

Yea, I don't think I'm Blown away by the styling but it does look pretty good IMHO... But my favorite Subaru's of all time were the 1999 WRX's(or 2.5'rs's here in the states)...
