Seeing his posts about the MRIs and other scary tests brings back memories. I was a subject in a clinical trial when I was a kid and I had all sorts of scary things done.

I've only read a couple of pages, but I already saw somebody's sig. read 'RIP fruit_loops,' so I can't imagine this story has a happy ending. Poor little guy...

Edit: I don't understand. I read through 114 pages (!) and, while I'm very glad to hear that the kid was recovering from his latest massive surgical prcedure, I don't understand why Burgandy's sig includes 'RIP Fruit_Loops.' Is there a conclusion or an update somewhere I didn't see?

The very last post in the forum is "This forum has been locked, please stand by for a statement fro Pdx.sierra." I was worried so I registered to see the actual paintball forum. Sure enough, on the intro page, sierra goes over how they struggled to keep him alive. He eventually went into a coma, I really don't feel like discussing the rest.

Stories like that really get to me. Alive or dead, God Bless 'Fruit_Loops' and his parents. I hope he is still alive. And God Bless people like the one who bestowed such happiness on that sick child. There is some good in this world in spite of what many say.

I am a pessimistic optimistic. I think the worst is going to happen, that way when it does, i don't feel as bad, but if the best happens, i am twice as happy.

A message on their main page confirms that the little guy passed away 2 days ago. Man, life really sucks sometimes.

At least there are some really thoughtful people left in the world that cared enough to try their damnedest to make his last few days in this world as good as they could be.

Hey Burgundy, since your a member, and I think I'm speaking for the entire Network, that you should post a message for his family and friends that the thoughts and prayers of the SVX community are with them during they're time of tragedy.

The fight is over now fruit_loops, may you forever rest in peace.

If you follow the links on that site there is one by pdx.sierra detailing how and why he went about making it all happen.

http://xtremepaintballcanada.com/van...=0&#entry25944

you might have to register there to view it.

DyingHi everyone,

Hi everyone, Yesterday on NPR they had a story about hospice care. This time it was for a two year old baby boy named Adam. He had Tay Sachs (sp).He had lost his vision, and would end up not being able to swallow so two or three weeks later he would be dead. Its hard to drive a car with tears running down your face. Remember the bumper sticker "Lifes a *****, and then you die". Some humans don't get the same breaks as the rest of us. Take care, BOBB
