Solenoid

Hi to Everybody,I am going to be brief,I have a TCU code # 14,a faulty shift A solenoid,my car is not shifting to second ,it skips it ,it goes from 1st to 3rd,Is there anybody on the Network who can get a Shifting Solenoid,Subaru sells the whole kit,4 solenoids and I can't afford it, Before hand Thank you very much.

I would save up and get the solenoid kit. Just like when changing the timing belt it's best to change everything while you're there.

Is your band brake adjusted properly? If it's too loose then it may skip second gear.
