Abs computer

Hi all

Still busy working out the problem with the abs light
Now replacing the abs computer under Seat
Strange thing is a large L on the partnumbertag of the new(secondhand) abscomputer
Does anyone knows what that means?

Hey Rinus,

I could be wrong, but I think that the L is just the particular stage/amendment configuration or code of the part. It makes more since when you look at the ECU and TCU and see the big letters that differ between year models.

That said, it shouldn't be that much of a problem if you install it. It didn't affect my '92 after I had to replace it when it shorted everything out (fusible link, multiple fuses, and some other computers).
