Front transmission seal leaking again

I had replaced the the front transmission seal with a seal with an o'reilleys seal and it leaked - pulled the transmission again and replaced with a Subaru seal - was fine for a few days and then started leaking - what gives ? I'm tired of pulling this transmission out lol

Re: Front transmission seal leaking again

Input shaft seal?

Converter neck damaged? "Bell housing" locating dowels in place? Converter all the way in the transmission when marrying with the engine? Seal alignment & depth ok? Pump body not cracked and bore ok? Flex plate ok? Converter balancing mass bits ok?

Should check the manual if any of the pressures being way too high would cause this......

Re: Front transmission seal leaking again

I have the same problem. It may be the torque converter bushing is worn out.

Yeah the input seal - I'm going to check the dowels, I can't 100% remember the dowels......Thanks a million for the suggestions.
