So I am just checking again. Does the drive shaft or tranny mount have to change? Any extra pieces to add in?

Currently my rear transfer clutch is gone so I only have FWD but the trans shifts fine.
You think I should get the TC rebuilt/flushed?

Tim,
If you have the ready cash I would get it checked/flushed/rebuilt for piece of mind. With less cash available, I'd drive it a few miles then re-drain & change the filter again - why, because if a clutch has failed, that clutch material has to be somewhere - probably not much in the TC, but since the swap is such a pain, a few more minutes and another filter is chump change (IMHO). svx_commuter, the transaxle has to be pulled, but not separated. The TC sits between the engine and the differential. There is a hollow tube (I forget its real name) that passes through the differential, and which couples the TC to the tranny input shaft. |

change the front seal on the trans when u do the swap. yes they just slide out and the new one just slides on. All of the 4eat in that version have the same spline and input shafts
