i tried that number for the hood emblem on subaruparts.com, and i didn't get anything. maybe the japanese parts have different part #'s, i don't know. anyway i REALLY want that hood emblem, i even tried to get it through subaru and subaru of japan. subaru told me they don't deal with subaru of japan, and you can't even order from the japanese web site. i also have a couple question but i'll post them tomorrow. thanx.

The part number for the Japanese hood emblem is correct. Any part number that is not for a US-spec SVX will not be listed in any US Subaru dealer's part database.

The same is true for the UK-spec cars. When I was in England, I saw the clear front turn signals, headlight washers, fender "repeator" lights, the center taillight panel with built-in rear fog lamps, etc for their SVX. I got part numbers while I was over there. I ordered parts directly from Bell & Colvill in the UK and have them shipped.

(You can see the clear front turn signals and the UK-spec taillight panel in my briefcase)

Thumbs up

ACSVX,
If anybody doubts the part number, I scanned the label on the plastic baggie mine came in. I'd be glad to e-mail the scan to you.

Ya..looks way "cleaner"..only one question...i know the Japenese Alcyone SVX's say just that, "alcyone SVX" not subaru svx....do the uk spec centers say Subaru?

TUK-spec aillight panel

The UK-spec panel says SUBARU SVX but in very dark (black) letters. The US version has the lettering in a silver reflective finish. I'm not sure what color lettering the Japanese (Alcyone) version has.

You can have this panel (part no. 84251PAA020) for £360.67 ($527.00 US) plus shipping. A new photo of this can be seen in my briefcase:

Svxcess: door handles?

This is the first time I've taken a look at your car, and I noticed that your door handles seem to be hidden/gone. How did you accomplish that?
