Final Hurdle

Steve, I finally broke the news to Shari that she'd be spending her birthday at a car show! Luckily, I'm still alive. She made me see things much more clearly . . . by putting a steak on my eye to bring the swelling down.

Just kidding. She's cool with it. Looking forward to seeing Amber and Abbie again and meeting Sharon. Lobo, you flying solo? Maybe you can talk Colin Riley into convoying down with you.

Any other takers? If not, we probably wanna get our registrations in. This'll probably be a pretty big show. Steve, do you want us to send the registrations in to you? Let us know.

Talking

I like how this is going.
Yeah, send the registrations to me (ASAP - with reg. fee) and I'll send them all together.

Do I have the count right? Are there five of us total? Can't wait to meet everyone!

Yes, Steve, the count is FIVE! It would be neat to have more, but, I think FIVE is an impressive showing! I'll print out the form and send the Reg. fee soon (gonna sell my Legacy tranny on e-bay to get the money )

I'm looking forward to it also. Do we need to e-mail Bill? He's been absent lately -- busy with school, I'm sure.

Do whatever's necessary. You know these guys a lot better than me. I can't yet link names with 'handles'.

Like your tint, by the way.

Heh - that makes it two years in a row. You'll have to let me know how you do that without catching hell for it. The anniversary meet is more than a year away and my wife has been complaining since October that it's on her birthday.

Talking I'm tellin' ya!

I usually have things going on my wifes birthday, too. But NOT THIS YEAR, BY GOLLY! Her birthday is the day AFTER Autofest!

Looks like just another reason to throw a bigger party!

Okay, I'll bring the cake. Will it be just the two, or should I put more names on it?

Yeah, they don't make it too clear.

http://www.myclassiccar.com/flash.htm

Once you're on the home page, there are some "buttons" at the top. A wrench, a book, a camera, and then an AF. Click the AF button for info on autofest. It's September 28-30. We're all going to send our registrations and fees to Steve Wasion so he can put them in together so that we will be lined up together. Yes, one SVX is impressive, but, more attention will be drawn to a "bevvy" of SVXes.

According to "Mapblast" you're about 5 hours away (About 345 miles.

http://www.mapblast.com/myblast/line...ille,+IN&BEE=1

Hope to see you there!

Cool Very cool, '94!

If y'all don't get a registration soon, you could send me the info and I could register by phone. According to my registration, this is what they need to know:

Year____ Make (Subaru - I think) Model (SVX - I hope)

Name____________________

Address__________________

City______________________ State_____ Zip_______

Phone__________________ Club MCC Member # (if applicable)

Pay (send me a check - preferred - I'll put all the reg's on my card after I get your money - or write it to Club MCC, if you prefer.)

If you would like to put a 'for sale' sign in your car (though I can't imagine why) then it'll cost you $25 and you'll have to go to the 'Car Corral'. Otherwise it's $20 per vehicle for non-members, $15 per vehicle for members.

Host Hotel is Executive Inn (877) 424-0888 (nice, but not particularly economical)

Y'know, I was looking through several Classic Car Mags (in the store - call me Mr. Cheap) and none ever seem to mention the SVX. If we begin showing these, en masse, that is likely to change. Very few classic car owners know what these are. Those who meet them for the first time are ALWAYS impressed.

Be prepared to pay more for your next SVX. Be prepared to ask more when you . . . never mind . . . I just couldn't say it.

Steve

Probably

Sorry for the late reply...I usually hang out in MOD mania. Despite the fact that I live in NM, I could probably attend the classic car show. It depends upon my school schedule. I should be finishing up school (Flint, MI) right around September 26th, and then I will be driving home to NM. I guess Indiana isn't too far out of the way, especially since there's never gonna be any kind of SVX meet here. Anyway, I'll get a hold of next semester's schedule and decide. Hopefully I'll be able to make it.

No Go fo' the show

Well, I can't be at the show. I'm gonna be in school until the 29th of September. I could try to make it to the last day of the show, but that would be, well, nuts. Wish I could come, because it's actually right in my path back to NM, but I guess it just wasn't meant to be Maybe next year, eh?
