About your search for lights, I might have an old set in storage I'd give you. They are in ok condition, the car they came from (my previous SVX) had taken a bump on the front at some point, so if I remember correctly there were some tabs cracked (may be missing a level gauge), but they still bolt in and work. I'll see if I can find them this week (probably in storage) and take a pic. Unfortunately I don't have side lights.

Cheers!
Ian.
That would be epic!! They by no means need to be perfect. I will clean them up. No to mention I may need to "clearance" them anyway to fit with the charge air cooler anyway. Please let me know!

Re: Lsvx-t

Tom, I have a set of corner lights that you are welcome to. Left over from when I switched to JDM clear lights. Also headlights if that doesn't work out.

Re: Lsvx-t

I found a local Impreza guy parting one out near me. I got headlights and corners. I had to modify the lights as the charge air cooler intrudes on their real estate. Gotta finish up the modification and work on cleaning up the lenses. Then I am converting the whole car to led exterior lighting. I did finally get a good street legal race seat. Waiting on brackets to show up. Not worth making them so I got a full setup from a local equipment shop.

Once lights and front harness are done I'll get the front bumper back on. Then hopefully start working on getting the hood to fit

Re: Lsvx-t

Finally got my headlight harness done!!! So I was able to get the front end fitted and check all my lights. Everything is working perfectly!

Re: Lsvx-t

Looking good. Getting a hood on there looks like a challenge. Lots of obstacles.

Re: Lsvx-t

Got my seat, brackets, and sliders all set. Still waiting on the base plate to bolt it all to. Mocked seat and it feels pretty good. Also installed passenger seat and oem seat belts for street use

Re: Lsvx-t

Hood is on. A little tweaked from being stored on the roof for over a year. I ordered a mild scoop to cover it up. I did get my seat plate installed. I might have to ditch the sliders unfortunately as the seat is pretty high. We'll see how it feels driving it.

Re: Lsvx-t

The hood fits well. Not much of a hole to clear stuff. I'm surprised.
I kinda like the look of the intercooler sticking out the front. It's no worse than the waterfall grill.

Re: Lsvx-t

Idk why my photo hosting won't load. I'm not really in love with the intercooler but I don't hate it enough to take it all apart and take the top 4 rows off and reweld the end caps just yet. I put it back up in the air and will be working on wiring up my reverse light switch and speed sensor. Then working on the exhaust system

Re: Lsvx-t

Looking good Tom, you did a good job in keeping everything low enough to fit under that low bonnet, a little bulge over the top will keep it,,,, almost stock looking.
Don't worry about the inter cooler it fits in with the original look.

Re: Lsvx-t

I say no scoop, just build a hump in the hood, like the old DSM cars and so many others have done. Power Dome!

With a small fairing, the top of that IC could be made to look pretty normal, blending into the underside of the hood...just a thought.

Love it!

Re: Lsvx-t

When I say scoop what I mean is a cap. More or less just something to cover it. I'd love to just make a hump but with the throttle body poking through it makes the shape a little tough. I'll put pics up when I test fit it. Thanks for the input!
