Updates regarding Earl and memorial

Earl's memorial will be July 25th. I will post location and time very soon. All/any invited to come, pay respects. Needless to say, I will be there.

I will be working with Emmett (Earls son) regarding SVX inventory. He is keeping one SVX, but the rest will be inventoried, noted/logged, and sold through the SVXWN. More will be posted soon. Some of these cars are low miles, but many have not been driven in 10 years so condition is variable. Some will be parts cars.

Lastly, I would like to get something together for Earls son. He is going to get married in August, and it would be a nice in honor of Earl for this event.

I have not posted because I have been devastated in grief. The last couple years have been lots of close losses for me and my lifestyle has changed so much now.

Watch this thread (or a new temporary one) for Earls stuff that will be sold.

-Chris

Re: Updates regarding Earl and memorial

Chris,

There will be many taking advantage of this quite wondrous place, who are not aware of your priceless, vital, essential and practical contribution. It is time that someone within administration created a thread setting out and acknowledging the history and actual practical side involved and your ongoing contribution.

Re: Updates regarding Earl and memorial

I often wondered if all of his collection were driven. There are some beauties.

I forgot to bring a tri-pod, but if there is interest, and I have 5g, I could live stream from my phone.

Re: Updates regarding Earl and memorial

Chris, I don't know how you wanted to go about getting something for Earl's son, but www.gofundme.com is one option. It's a popular fundraising platform that makes it easy to collect money for all sorts of causes. And it's easy to share a link with a wider audience (e.g. the Facebook SVX groups, which see more traffic).
