Door position sensor???

When the interior light didn't illuminate as the door opened - I learned that the reason my seat belt anchor doesn't move is that the door position sensor is broken, disconnected, or maladjusted.

Does anyone know where/how the car senses door position?

It's integrated into the lock assembly...

There are two connectors. One is to power the door lock actuator motor, the other is to the door/lock position sensor. Hopefully the next person to have this situation will benefit from my frustrating time on the problem.
