What part is this?

I got error codes 24 and 56 so to start off i decided to clean both idle air controller/bypass air controller and egr

well in process of removing the intake manifold i broke off tow vacuum nipples for a vacuum sensor or valve of somesort - problem is i have no clue what it is.

it is located in forward right corner if your facing the front of the engine - right behind where the ac compressor should go right under the intake manifold.

it has the numbers 3Y01 on the side and it looks like an emblem that says NOIC or NOK?

any help?

Re: What part is this?

That solenoid controls the actuation of the IRIS valve. The IRIS valve opens under high RPM to allow cross-intake airflow for higher power.

Re: What part is this?

I get most of my stuff from subarugenuineparts.com.

I did not see a specific listing for that solenoid, but if I remember correctly it is nearly identical to the EGR solenoid which should work. Someone please correct me if im wrong.

Others have broken the same piece of that solenoid. Some have repaired it by gluing it back together with a two part epoxy.
