Now why would I bring down the mother of all wedges to dangle in front of your taped together knee. That's just plain cruel. Seriously, I have 15 million give or take a million or two in building going on at work right now so I'm just a little swamped. Besides, I'd like to have an extra 75% more power before taking it on the dragon. Still not sure if I can stomach the noise for 10 hours driving down though.

Re: Dragon

Plan for me is to stop by the store in Asheville and pick up a 6-pack, then head out there to Fonatana Village... If there is someone at a camp site that wouldn't mind me throwing my cot & sleeping bag out in their "front yard" later that night, it would be much appreciated.

See youguys in 3 days ...

Oh, and if you want to do some good drives, I'd be glad to offer some suggestions for Sunday afternoon lunch as I am very familiar with the roads up there

Dude, bring your sleeping bag and crash somewhere... That's what I'm doing ... Even if I have to crash on the side of the road (which I have seen plenty of people do that) then do that...

Everyone should be able to spot me when I roll in so PLEASE stop me if you see me in Fontana Village... I'll be in the Grey 2006 STi... I have no idea where youguys are staying so I'll be driving around till I see some SVXi...

Should be getting in around midnight Saturday night... See you all then! Save a beer or two for me

If you know where the cabins are? But at any rate you can't miss the 3 XT6's and 3 SVXi here. We will be around but the meeting has been at Matts and Steves cabin.

Re: Dragon

Actually I hate to do this, but I won't be able to make it out there tonight...

I am taking possibly the most important exam of my life on Tuesday (ASTB - to be a pilot in the Army)... So I absolutey have to study. And lastnight I really drank alot, still have a headache as a matter of fact...

ALSO, I haven't been paid yet so I am really low on $$ ...

ALSO, I found out that the STi is burning a LARGE amount of oil earlier this week... Currently the rate is about a quart every two weeks in normal driving... That is pretty substantial ...

Anyway, I apoligize for not being able to make it but hopefully some of youguys might be interested in getting to another meet there in the near future... Take care and be safe!!

No worries Chris! I am always down for another meet. Get that oil usage looked at and good luck on that exam!

Re: Dragon

Again, I'm sorry guys... Sometime soon though before the year is out I hope to get out there (depending mainly on $$$ and how bad the oil consumption is)...

No Worries Chris,
I wondered about you when I headed back to my room Saturday night..

I had a great time as usual, though the drive to and back sucked in FrankenWedge, as it has no AC....

It was good to have a couple Dragon Newbies this year, as the count was down...had 8 Owners there, but a couple of them weren't in their Subarus
The "Farthest Drive" award went to a 89 XT6 from Dallas, Texas

I am glad I went, I had a lot of fun out there. I want to also say thanks to Matt and Steve for giving me a place to stay. I will be back next year!
