I would have waited for the Snapdragon processor phone, but I had been using my old Razr for the last 5 months because my previous phone ended up in the washing machine.

I couldn't wait another few months!

I agree with you! There´s certain things that is better to write instead of talk, that gives more time to think twice before saying something.

I text because it is the best way to communicate with women. Short, Sweet, and to the point none of this blah blah blah stuff that happens on the phone.

Re: text messaging

Didn't like it in the beginning, but if everyone that you know texts... lets say you get used to it. Full keyboard FTW!

Re: text messaging

I don't hate it, but without a keyboard phone it is tedious to respond. (Even with a keyboard phone it takes much more of your attention, --which is why everyone is crashing their cars while doing it.)
I actually prefer to receive a text message over a voicemail if it is just a quick note. But if you want me to have a conversation then I will just call back.

Re: text messaging

Sometimes you just cant answer/make a call, because you are lets say, in a church or public library or hospital whatever, then texting is the way to go.
Or sometimes you are in the same place with someone, in a reunion or party or whatever, and you dont want HER to hear a conversation with.. another person

Thumbs down Re: text messaging

The entire mind-set of MUST BE IN TOUCH WITH EVERYONE AT ALL TIMES OR I'LL JUST DIE has totally eluded me. Of course, I'm 110 years old, retired, & just want to be left alone. My cell phone is always in the OFF mode, unless I choose to call you - & I seldom do. I also let my home answering machine (remember those?) screen all my calls. I don't text, sext, twitter, tweet, or twat; although talkin' dirty over the land line is kinda fun.
I never owned a Palm (remember those?) or any such subsequent device. Don't have an iPod, an MP3 or anything that won't play a vinyl record (Nah, you won't remember), a cassette tape or a CD (my only cave-in to the last decade).
My newest car is a '96 van with 220,000 miles on her. I even have this ancient '92 Subaru SVX thing that at least has a cassette player.

So....if I have anything important to say, I'll just say it here!

'nuff said as usual.

Ron.
