Yes, it has been converted, I converted it after I got the car cuz it was out and I didn't want to pay for R12! When you do the conversion, the oil coats the inside of the hoses and prevents the R-134a from leaking out, and I also replaced all the o-rings with Viton o-rings. The one thing I did not do that I should have done, was replace the receiver-dryer, which I will probably do once the summer is over, or the next time I can afford one.

It ended up just being overcharged and it was just enough to trip the high pressure switch when the compressor cycled on and the temperature was just right, I pulled out about a half a pound of refrigerant and now it works perfectly and all the pressures are good and such. Now I just have to fix my wife's car. Her old compressor siezed, and the one I had laying around that I put on generates about 90 PSI on the high side when it's running, instead of the 150-200 that it should be. So if anyone has a Calsonic compressor laying around let me know... But as for the SVX, I don't need one.
