Re: Please keep Tomssvx in your thoughts

That is good news in a way Tom.

Best wishes for a good recovery if that is possible for your Dad. We'll be thinking of you and offering a prayer here in Ireland too.

Joe

Re: Please keep Tomssvx in your thoughts

Small update

1. they were able to reduce his oxygen percentage to 50% from 100%
2. They were also able to take him off his blood pressure medicine as he is able to keep his pressures up now.

Both things are making it look up... but we are not out of the woods yet.

Tom

Re: Please keep Tomssvx in your thoughts

My thoughts and prayers are with you Tom. Although I don't know you, I know how hard tough times like these are as both of my parents have had struggles with their health in the past.

Re: Please keep Tomssvx in your thoughts

Just saw this Tom - haven't been on the site in a while. Wishing and praying for the best for you, your dad, and your family. With the death of your grandmother just last month, it's got to be hard for everyone. Was she your dad's mom?

Take care.

Re: Please keep Tomssvx in your thoughts

Hi Tom,
Been off the site for a while, hope everything is working out for the best. At least you're home and can be with your dad, instead of across the country as it was with your grandmother.
All the best, to you and your whole family.
Paul

Re: Please keep Tomssvx in your thoughts

Good news folks!! He is off the ventilator and awake!! Seems to be doing fairly well. Still has infections to fight off and he is not out of the woods in any sense of the word... BUT progress in the right direction. Thank you all for your kind words and thoughts

Tom
