Is this model of a BMW an Italian car? Yes it is.

If I go to the store, and buy a model of a BMW, build it, and then try to sell it; is it an Italian car?

Wait - what company made the kit, where is their headquarters, where are their manufacturing plants, where do the materials come from, and what are the demographical backgrounds of their employees, customers, and international sales?

I think the status quo on ethnicity be it human or vehicle is over dramatized and pointless. It's what's on the inside that counts, be it a golden heart or sweet luxurious leather and sat nav pushing a sub 5 second zero to sixty.
