Wanted, stock center catilytic convertor

Hi All,
Anyone have one of these ? I had mine replaced with the latest OEM unit by Monro. This retrofit supplied by Subaru doesn't have the same design as the original. Instead of the bellmouth with flanges, spring loaded bolts and exhaust donuts, it just has a flat flange and gasket. The poor condition front cat$ coupling flange doesn't seal well against the flat flange. I want to go back to oem cat. (If only I lived near SVXFILES!)

I had this same problem when putting the new exhaust on my 92. I utilized the donut gaskets, stock springs, with longer bolts over stock with washers. Worked great! No leaks

I can measure them when I get the car back (hopefully tomorrow). I cannot recall off hand.

the bolts are roughly an inch and a half longer than stock. Just typical hardware store stuff. the only thing is youll want to do is double nut it and crank them tight against eachother to prevent them from coming loose. also, if you can find the right size, you'll want a short sleeve kinda spacer washer thingy just to help keep the spring from wandering off the flange

Eric is known among us for his scientific explanations :-P.

It wasn't just typical hardware store stuff, I used stainless hardware with the same type of thread, size, etc.

(I CANNOT STAND WHEN PEOPLE CHANGE MISC FITTINGS TO SAE ON A FOREIGN CAR)
