Looks more for an airplane to me. Notice how the engine is in backwards.

That, and I havent the slightest idea where I read it, but I remember seeing a bit on that intake manifold being made...It uses a single ford (I wanna say 75mm) throttle body

Im gonna even take a guess and say the turbo chargers are more to help keep the proper amount of air going into the motor for high altitudes

Not to mention that it appears to be mounted to an Aircraft Fuselage...

hmm

wow, lots of posts while i was at work today. I was actually wanting to know how they got the twin turbo setup to work. Yes, it's in a plane. But what it's in shouldn't matter right? I've been tossing around the idea of a side mount supercharger, but I'd rather turbo my 92. I'm just looking for options atm.

rebello racing?

I know that rebello racing was working on a pair of engines for an svx powered racing plane several years ago. They were turbo charged and I recall someone from rebello saying they made 550 horse on the dyno.

Yup, airplane. Turbochargers in planes aren't used for power, they're used to compress thin air at high altitudes so the engine doesn't lose power as it climbs.

My favorite FI airplane engine is the Wright R-3350. Four of them were used to power the Argus maritime partol plane Canada used to use. It's a two bank, 18 cylinder radial, featuring a centrifugal supercharger and three turbochargers, for a total of 3700 HP.
