Does this sound right?

Ok so I take my SVX into the shop today to get some new parts put in. And just a few days ago my whole dash (AC/Heater and clock don't work at all, the clocks light doesn't even come on).

So while i'm at the dealer I have him take a look at it, he comes back and says that when I got my new stereo deck installed, some wires or something got crossed or cut or something, and that is causing the problem.

I've had this new cd deck in for about 3 weeks, and the front panel just barely stopped working like 3 days ago, so I don't know if this is legit in any way.

Bah my damn suby dealer sucks. He told me that he ordered some parts to fix an exhaust leak, but I get there and he tells me that he didn't order it and they don't have any parts! So now I have to wait another 3 weeks before they'll get this part in .

I think it's a bunch of morons down there because they don't ever seem to accomplish anything on my car.

3 WEEKS for parts!?!?

My dealer usually ships the parts next day for me for free and I get most of the prices closes to (about a couple of bucks away from) the at cost price too..

i agree, my place gets parts in a week at the max, next day usually depending on who orders them.

As far as the dash going out, this happened to me! and it was my sterio, I had it in for 2 weeks before it went out. Turns out the illumination signal wire got pinched inbetween the cage and the body and grounded it out. nothing big to fix, i just put some more electrical tape on and made sure the wires didn't get stuck this time and all is good
