Interior is just...perfect

I was so impressed. Every part of the Tribeca is so nice. It flows perfectly and the materials all looked first class. I wish it was offered at the mazda subaru dealership we bought or mazda. The Tribute is great and it was 10000 ceaper but I might have ate out a little less to be able to afford the subaru if it was available. My wife did not want a hideous station wagon subaru(her opinion) so there were no negotiating.Anyone notice the trunk latch? You just have to barely touch it to open the latch. Inovative, especialy if you have junior, a sippy cup, and a grocery bag the weight of lead blocks in it..

I've seen a few on the road, they look a heck of a lot better in person than in pictures or tv. I'm not sure if the look will grow on me, the lights (front and rear) seem extremely disproportionate to the size of the body. As for the new Impreza, I'm not going to rule it out completely. I thought the Bug eye model was ugly as sin when i first saw it, but I've fallen in love with the look and now own one myself.

Subaru has a way of releasing cars that have looks "ahead of their time" perhaps this will be one also.

i finally got to see one up close at a local mall. there were two subaru reps there, so i got to sit in it and play with all the knobs, etc. it seems far more comfortable than my legacy and if a dealership can get me close on what i owe, there will be a tribeca in my garage.

do the salesmen at your dealer get giddy when they see you pulling onto the lot? can you see actual dollar signs superimposed over their retinas as you talk to them?

i'm sure they do. at least this time i will do my shopping. when i went into my regular dealership, i learned both my sales manager and salesman have moved on. it's an auto nation dealer which means no haggle pricing. right now, they are asking msrp for teh tribeca.
